This two-part photo session was an absolute blast! We kicked things off at the beautiful VMFA sculpture gardens, where KP and Tanner's love for each other shone brightly against the stunning backdrop of artistic sculptures and lush greenery. The gardens provided a perfect blend of elegance and charm, setting the stage for some truly magical moments. While there is a fee for professional photography inside the museum, the gardens are open to the public.
After capturing some breathtaking shots at the VMFA, we headed over to KP and Tanner's cozy home for the second part of our session. Their charming porch, adorned with inviting furniture and vibrant plants, made for a wonderfully intimate setting. Of course, we couldn’t forget to include their adorable pup, Baci. With the oppressive heat, it was a good call to keep the little dude close to home with his water bowl and AC, ensuring he was comfortable and happy throughout the shoot.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, doing couples photography for other queer couples always fills me with so much joy that I feel radiant. Our love stories are magical, and they deserve to be celebrated and captured with all the beauty and authenticity they hold. For far too long, our community had to keep these stories quiet. Now, we have the opportunity to share and cherish them openly and I am honored to be a part of preserving this history.
